I am 81 years old as of this year. Before Lunar New Year, I was standing on a square shaped plastic chair to sweep the leaves when I fell and landed on the ground on my right hip. My children hailed a taxi cab to take me to the emergency room in an orthopedic hospital. After the doctor’s examination with an x-ray taken twice, I was diagnosed with a broken thigh bone and was instructed to use a temporary splint while waiting for the scheduled operation. Since New Year was approaching, I was discharged from the hospital to come back for the scheduled operation after New Year. During this period of time, I was suffering from unbearable pain throughout the day and night. Strangely enough, more than a week later, the pain suddenly stopped and the swelling was nearly gone!

After my accident when I was still in pain, my children went to Formosa to see Master and attend the 5-day Retreat. They went away with peace of mind, for they would have already returned home for my scheduled operation. Nevertheless, upon arriving in Formosa, they talked with each other about changing the plane tickets the next day to go home earlier as they were concerned that dad would be in pain and depression. The next day, Master came and reminded fellow initiates in general that, “When you come here, you should meditate, eat, and sleep without any concern about your family. Master will take care of all your family related things.” The kids were so overjoyed by this as if Master talked to them personally. They decided not to change the tickets and stayed longer without any more concern.

March 14, Golden Year 4 (2007), was the day doctors consulted with each other prior to reaching their consensus about an operation. Before the re-examination, the committee issued authorization for another x-ray to be taken. The consultation committee consisted of more than ten doctors sitting at two separate tables to do their consulting prognosis. As soon as the x-rays were placed on the lighted panel, the old x-ray showed an image of a broken bone, whereas the newly taken one showed no broken bone. Being suspicious, they ordered the x-rays taken again in two different angles. Later, as the committee had closely reviewed both x-rays without detecting any broken bone, I was discharged to go home. Unable to fully explain this change, the whole committee of consulting doctors admitted to each other that it was scientifically inexplicable.

Dear Master, our whole family has practiced Your QuanYin Method for nearly 14 years, and we have had so much of Your blessings with great inner experiences in our spiritual as well as in physical life. Now, more of Your attention has been paid to my old age, which makes our family speechless in expressing any words that are worthy to describe a Master’s care for disciples. We wish to practice diligently to pay our gratitude to You – as Master stands above looking down seeing Her children spiritually devoted, She would indeed be happy.
