Brazil Government ♥♥♥♥
Brazil’s renewable energy policies and strategies have led the world in innovative planning to generate power from wind, solar and biomass (sugar cane). In addition, Brazil has labored to minimize green house gases, discouraged the building of dams that bring flooding and destruction to the rainforest, offset deforestation, has initiated stiff fines for environmental damage, and has fostered the use of ethanol to replace fossil fuels. These practices have created millions of new jobs for its citizens, and has provided a very positive and successful model for other countries to follow. The government of Brazil has been awarded
the Shining World leadership Award by Supreme Master Ching Hai for its
great contributions to saving and protecting the environment. On March
20, Golden Year 4 (2007), the Mines and Energy Ministry has confirmed
the receipt of the plaque sent by post.
