Once a young man got onto a bus that was very, very crowded. Everyone was squeezed in with each other, standing everywhere and holding onto the rails. Another man was sitting who was also young, not very old. He just sat there and buried his face in his arms all the time, looking very uncomfortable. So the first young man came over and asked him, “Are you OK?” And the other young man replied, “I’m OK, I’m OK,” and just buried his head deeper into his arms. The first young man was still unconvinced that the second was OK so he came over again and asked, “Are you really OK? Why do you keep hiding your head? You look very uncomfortable.” And the second young man said, “Yes, I’m OK. I just hate to see all these old ladies standing while I’m sitting.”
