Namo Ching Hai Wu Shang Shih!

Whoever recites gets closer to the Ocean of Love;
Their troubles vanish, bliss abides,
And gone completely is all strife.
Such is this unfathomable Name,
Whose secrets are known to none,
Save those who come to know the same,
And are no longer of earthly birth.

By declaiming Namo Ching Hai Wu Shang Shih,
Let thy life most fruitful begin,
For it 's the true and perfect Nam;
Please keep IT innermost forever.

The Name dispels illusion,
And later soothes the mind,
There is no doubt —
Namo Ching Hai Wu Shang Shih
Is God's designation,
The "Word" bestowed by our Supreme Master.

When the mind stays with
The Supreme Lord's Name
Even for a second,
All karma is destroyed there and then.

Practitioners who fill their pot
With drops of the rapturous melodies,
Alone survive.
How can they die,
Having drunk from the source of all knowledge?
