Q: As spiritual practitioners, we all try to enlighten ourselves by meditating. Besides meditating to improve our levels, what else can we do to improve ourselves as residents of this Earth?

M: Meditate, and then you’ll know what to do. Normally, it’s like that. Everything I do now that you like or that you approve of comes from the fruit of my meditation. Not before — not doing and then meditating, or at the same time. Sometimes all of the answers come through meditation, and then all of your actions will be governed by their wisdom.

That’s the best. Meditate first, and everything will come later. Don’t worry; it will come. Just worry that you don’t meditate enough.

Q: I was just thinking that a lot of karma in this world comes from the killing and suffering of animals. So if we slowly let this information out, it will take root, and then over time fewer animals will be killed, which in turn will produce better karma for the planet as a whole. And that would probably improve many other things as well.

M: Everyone knows that already. Nowadays, almost everyone on this planet is aware of the benefits of being vegetarian. Our job isn’t to promote the vegetarian diet; the vegetarian diet is a requirement that comes with spiritual yearning. And whoever desires to know God will accept the vegetarian diet as well.

Q: If people don’t accept God but at least accept the vegetarian diet, will that improve things, in your opinion?

M: No, not much. It’s the motive behind the vegetarian diet. If they don’t open up the love within themselves, eating a vegetarian diet is just an empty act. So it’s the spiritual support that’s behind all the things we do, not that all the things we do are behind the spiritual motive. It’s a matter of opening the love in people. And all I do is raise the awareness of the love within them. Once they yearn to know that, everything else comes more naturally.

Q: Yes, that’s a much more beautiful and noble aim.

M: Otherwise, you could also tell people about the benefit of being a vegetarian, like a healthier life and saving the planet and all that. It’s not what you do; it’s the energy of the motive.

Q: As I slept one night, I saw some cows and pigs in a dream, and my feeling was that they want me to promote vegetarianism because it will help them.

M: OK, then you can try. You can go on TV and talk about it. Each of us can do different things.

Q: Pigs and cows are also beings, aren’t they?

M: Yes. Maybe they have affinity with you, and you’re their savior. So why don’t you do something?

Q: OK, that’s great. Thank You, Master.

M: You’re welcome. Each of us can choose another direction to go in. This is also fine. Everyone can do something. Some of our brothers and sisters produce vegetarian food. That’s also good. The thing is, if you want to suggest that I go on TV and just talk about vegetarian food, then that’s where I would lead people’s minds and thinking. And then whenever they approached me, it would just be all about vegetarianism; whereas that’s only a small part of my job. So if I make it a major issue, of course that will help, but it would be too slow, and I might die before I rescued anyone’s soul. So any of you can do that if you feel like doing it. Some could join “Stop Smoking,” some could advise people on following a vegetarian diet and so on. It’s fine.
