[Austin]
On Saturday, December 1, 2001, the Austin
Center held a video seminar at the University of Texas (UT) at Austin
to spread Master's teachings. The event was officially hosted by "Light
And Sound Meditation With The Quan Yin Method," a registered
student organization run by initiates who are faculty members and
students at UT. With the permission of the University, we posted several
hundred seminar announcements in many buildings on campus and ran
advertisements in UT publications. We also distributed several thousand
flyers.
On
the day of the seminar, many fellow initiates came from the Dallas
and Houston Centers to share in the joy of spreading the Truth, and
the atmosphere was peaceful and uplifting. The audience was comprised
largely of UT students, who were very serious about seeking the Truth.
Following the seminar, about one third of the guests learned the Convenient
Method, after which they asked many questions and spoke earnestly
with initiates about Master and the Quan Yin Method.
This
seminar was the first featuring Master's videos held at UT-Austin.
Fellow initiates learned much through the preparation work. For this
we are very grateful to Master for guiding us in everything we do.
